A truck stop is a safe and secure overnight stop for trucks and their payload. With refuelling facilities and amenities – drivers, and their assistants can rest and recharge while refuelling their trucks.

Truck drivers work long and demanding hours and must be treated with respect, dignity and care in order to perform at their best under the demanding on road conditions. In order for this to happen truck drivers must have access to safe and secure overnight facilities, clean ablutions, a balanced diet, health care services and emergency repair services for their trucks.
